Once planted, the geographical location where the tree is planted will be added to the record. A beautiful card is also sent to the family signifying your thoughtful gesture.

Obituary for Arthur Evans

Arthur W. Evans "Hurricane Katrina Survivor" South Plainfield - Arthur W. Evans, 90, died on Thursday, March 22, 2007 in the Haven Hospice at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Evans resided in South Plainfield for nearly 40 years before moving to New Orleans in 1985. In 2005, immediately after Hurricane Katrina, he moved back to South Plainfield. Arthur served with the Navy during WWII. He worked as a 1st Class Mechanic for Mack Trucks and Hoagland Engineering, and in his spare time he was a master cabinet maker. Surviving are his wife Lucy (Grieb) of 58 years, two daughters; June Franke and her husband Bill of South Plainfield and Valarie Fernandez and her husband Ovidio of New Orleans, two sons, Richard Evans and his wife Mitchiko of California and Robert Evans of New Jersey, two grandchildren; Tiffiny Wallace and Russell Evans and two great grandchildren; Morgan and Tyler Evans. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 5:00 PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield. Cremation is private. Entombment of his cremated remains will take place on Tuesday at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007 from 4-6 PM in the funeral home ">
