Margaret Glenda (Stacey) Miller- of St. John's, NL, formerly of Garden Cove, passed away Saturday February 9, 2013, on her 65th birthday, with her dedicated husband Freeman Hollett by her side. The Family will be receiving visitors at Barrett’s funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Avenue from 10am-12pm on Tuesday February 12, 2013. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2pm from Barrett's Funeral Home Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL, with Rev. Scott Parsons BA, BEd, MDiv, United Church, Officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes to follow at a later date. Margaret was born to Annie and Alexander Stacey on Sound Island, February 9, 1948. She was an avid reader and fastidious coin collector who sought contentment in the contest of a new logic puzzle. Always quick with a quip and a grin, she loved her family above all else. She is survived by husband Freeman Hollett, son Stephen (Karla) Miller, son Bradley (Michelle) Miller, daughter Glenda (Brendan) Hollet and a loving circle of family and friends. Margaret is predeceased by brother Wayne Stacey 2003, mother Annie (Downey) Stacey 2008 and father Alexander Stacey 2009. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted, no daisies please.The family would like to thank the staff of the Hoyles-Escasoni PCU for their special care, Dr. Phair and the nursing team at the HSC and all our supportive friends and family.
