Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Archie Larry and Brother Darell Hoffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Ryan was born July 10, 1985, in Union City, son of Chuck Chandler of Union City and Twyla (Morris) Freeman of Kenton. He was a 2004 graduate of Obion County Central High School and received a degree in marketing from The University of Tennessee at Martin in 2008. Ryan was employed as marketing director for Home Builders Mart in Union City, a member of Mu Kappa Tau business fraternity at UTM and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He is also survived by his stepfather, Kenneth Freeman of Kenton; his fiancee', Kara Cox of Troy; his grandparents, Norman and Shirley Chandler and Vivian and Ronnie Hayes of Union City; his stepsister, Emily Freeman of Kenton; his uncles, Jon Chandler and Jeff Morris both of Union City; his aunt, Angie Chandler of Union City; his cousin, Bryan Chandler of Union City; his great grandmother, Flossie Stanley of Bernie, Missouri; and his future father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Barbara Cox of Troy. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Morris. The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be Harris Pitts, Kevin Jones, Andy Mc Gowan, Brandon Poyner, Chad Luedeke, and Trent Robertson. Honorary pallbearers will be Teresa Fletcher, Trent Duncan and Chris Jones.
