Obituary for Veronica E. Ratcliff

Veronica E. Ratcliff, 79, of Romulus, passed away on February 27, 2013. Veronica was born May 2, 1933 in Masontown, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Michael Karpack and Mary (Bresney) Karpach. Veronica was a big Elvis fan. She was the President of the Elvis Worldwide Memorial fan club. She also loved spending time with her family. In addition to Veronica’s passing, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jan Ross Ratcliff, one son; Gregory Chapman, one daughter; Denise Pauley, one brother; Joseph Karpach, and three sisters; Ann Zynda, Irene Puckett, and Mary Miko. To cherish her memory she leaves one son; David (Tammy) Ratcliff, one daughter; Michelle (John) Kilik, one brother; John (Dolores) Karpach, one sister; Marge Zynda, one son in-law; John Pauley, eleven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Friends may gather from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday March 1, 2013 at Crane Funeral Home, 36885 Goddard Rd. Romulus, MI 48174, (734) 941-9200. The funeral service will be held on Saturday March 2, 2103 at 10:30am, with Father John Currin, of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, officiating.
