Virginia Virden

Virginia Virden, 81, of Atkins, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born September 20, 1931, in Moreland, the daughter of Ellis Carl and Mary Ruth Barham Eakin. She was a member of the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Virden; parents; and 2 sisters, Joyce Howell and Peggy Gooden. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and husband Rodger Story; and 2 grandsons, Jason Story and wife Bree, and Derek Story. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Saturday, March 2, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Dwight Scott and Bro. Wayne Landers officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
