Apolonia Dabrowski

Apolonia Dabrowski, 81, of West Hartford, Ct. died Thursday April 25, 2013 at the Hospital for Special Care, New Britain, Ct. Apolnia was born on August 30,1931 in Wilno, Poland and was the daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Wladyslawa (Wojdag) Michiejew. She immigrated to this country in 1960 with her husband and young son. She retired from Greenwood Nursing Home in Hartford after many years of faithful service caring for the residents there. She is survived by her loving spouse Juliusz Dabrowski, her daughter Margaret and her sister Jola from Poland. She is also survived by her grandchildren Daniel(Amber), Nina, Albert, Alison , Colleen, Nicole(James), Chris(Carol) and her great-grandchildren Kurtis, Draven, whom she was very close to, Lily, Emily, Makayla, Kaylin and Lexie. Also her son in law Alan and her daughter in law Kristina and numerous nieces and nephews in Poland. Apolonia was predeceased by her son Witold. She loved entering sweepstakes and contests especially PCH hoping to win so she can share with her family. She was a strong and kind person, fiercely protective of her family and would do anything for them. Most of all she loved her family and loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Grandma Babci we love you and miss you.
