Each tree is planted through the efforts of Forestry Services throughout North America who determine where the greatest needs for reforestation are. Once planted, the geographical location where the tree is planted will be added to the record. A beautiful card is also sent to the family signifying your thoughtful gesture.

Obituary for Darcy Sheldon Eichler

It is with the heaviest of hearts and deepest sorrow that the family of Darcy Eichler announces his sudden and unexpected passing on May 11, 2013. Darcy will be deeply missed by all his family and friends and all the lives he touched on a daily basis with his amazing sense of humor and caring heart. Anyone who knew him will greatly miss looking into his twinkly, blue eyes waiting for him to share a story or joke. Darcy would do anything for anyone that needed a helping hand as his heart was so generous. He was honest, trustworthy, loyal and a “brother” to so many more than just his sisters. Darcy lived his life to the fullest without regrets and greatly enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors. Darcy will be lovingly remembered by his parents Mabel and Henry Eichler; sister Darlene Eichler, brother-in-law Robert Openshaw and niece and nephew Sarah and James; sister Karen Piette, Tim Miron and nieces Elle Marie and Jenna; sister Mary Gareau, brother-in-law Brian Gareau and nieces Amanda and Kathleen; Aunt Elsie Fichtner; Aunt Rose and Uncle Bob Forbes; Aunt Shirley and Uncle Joe Corbett; Aunt Eva Reiter; cousin Marvin Fichtner, wife Anita and children Shane and Shalane; cousin Marianne Bottrell, husband Greg and children Tyler and Jamie; cousins Donna Fraser and husband Len Page, Melvin Fraser, Marlene Jaquish, Gordon Jaquish, Tom Day and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Darcy was predeceased by both sets of loving grandparents as well as various aunts, uncles and cousins.
