Funeral services for Roberta Ann Battenfield, 50, of Muskogee, OK, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Battenfield officiating. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK. Roberta was born February 18, 1963 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Elbert and Evelyn (Robison) Battenfield and died Friday, May 31, 2013 at Muskogee. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Roberta enjoyed spending time with family, outside activities, and loved the simple things of life…….like fishing, watching birds, coloring books, and drawing. Survivors include her parents, Elbert and Evelyn Battenfield of the home; sisters, Andrea Battenfield, Carissa Battenfield Metz both of Muskogee; brother, Elbert B. Battenfield of Antlers, OK; one niece, Elizabeth Battenfield; one great-niece, Margaret Battenfield; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
