Obituary for Rev. James Conrad

Rev. James Conrad (81) of Foster, KY passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. He was born in Covington, KY on September 24, 1931, son of the late Wilbur and Bess Gulick Conrad.

Rev. Conrad retired from Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church after years of preaching in Nelson, Anderson, Montgomery, Owen, Estill and Pendleton Counties. He served in the United States Army as Specialist 3rd Class.

Preceded in death by: Parents: Wilbur and Bess Gulick Conrad, Step Mother – Hilda Conrad, Son – James Ray Conrad, Brothers: Donald, Ralph, Tom, Marvin and Woodrow Conrad, Sisters: Elnora Aulick, Mary Dougherty, Emma Grace Moorehead and Ruth Bentle.

Survivors include: Wife: Rachel Stearman Conrad- Foster, KY, Sons: John Conrad – Astor, FL, Joe Conrad – Alexandria, KY, Jack (Julie) Conrad – Ft. Mitchell, KY, Sister In Law – Anna Mae Conrad – New Holland, OH
Grandchildren – Isabella and Elise Conrad, Several nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers: Delbert Cox, Jimmy Roseberry, Hank Roseberry, Billy Corbin, Jack Gallagher and Doug Adams. Honorary Pallbearers: Johnny Eshman, Bob Florer and Randall Schlueter.

Visitation Service- 4 pm- 8 p.m. Wednesday June 5, 2013 at the Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church-Butler, KY.

Funeral Service: 11 am Thursday June 6, 2013 with a viewing from 10-11 am, also at church, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Daryl Wilder and Jamie Thornsberry, Music by Adrian Williams, Monte McElfresh and the congregation will sing “Victory In Jesus”.

Final Resting Place- Short Creek Cemetery- Pendleton Co., KY.
