Obituary for William G Brooks

William G. Brooks, age 58, of Erie, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at home following a brief illness.
He was born on September 1, 1952 a son of the late C. Leo and Pearl Sawtelle Brooks.
William worked for Reed Manufacturing for many years.
He was an avid race car fan, and enjoyed the Erie SeaWolves and Erie Otters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece Michelle Brooks.
He is survived by his wife Joni Brooks and his son Alex Brooks at home; a daughter Robin Cone and her husband Mike of Erie; two brothers, Robert brooks and his wife Star of Girard and Timothy Brooks and his wife Nancy of Erie; a sister, Jane (Brooks) Bennett and her husband Greg of Fairview and a grandson Devin Cone of Erie. Many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends are invited to attend a service at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
