Linda Kay Hess, 64, of Martinsburg, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Care Haven Center while under the care of Hospice. Mrs. Hess was born October 30, 1948, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence William and Edith Dennison. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Chapel. She is survived by her three daughters, Sherry Brand and fiancé, Fred, Lisa Steel and husband Jerry, Jana Cooper and husband, David; one son, Douglas Beall Hess, Jr. and wife, Nina and one brother, Larry Dennison and wife, Dori. She had six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Beall Hess; sister, Nancy L. Hess, brother, Jimmy Arvin, and longtime friend James W. Butts, Jr. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home’s South Berkeley Chapel with the Rev. Lester Hess officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 2nd at the South Berkeley Chapel.
