Brian Shaw Obituary

Brian Andrew Shaw, 21, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013. Born in Somers Point, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Egg Harbor Township. Brian was a 2009 graduate of Egg Harbor Township High School, and spent his grade school years attending Cub Scouts pack #15 in EHT. He was most recently a valued employee of Kline Construction in Galloway Twp. Brian was very active, and enjoyed camping, skateboarding, and video-gaming. In his youth, he had spent many memorable family vacations by the beach and the mountains, explored the outdoors with his brother and sister, and enjoyed get-togethers with his large circle of friends. His kind and laid-back presence was treasured by everyone around him. Most of all, Brian was known for making people laugh. He had a remarkable talent for comedy, impersonation, and keen observation that kept his friends and family in stitches. Brian's silly grin was a vault of a thousand jokes, and will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is predeceased by his uncle, Robert Eskine IV; he is survived by his son, Landon Jacob Shaw; his parents, Joseph B. Shaw and Fay A. Shaw; his sister and brother, Jessica and Erik Shaw; his girlfriend, Brittni Slotterback; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends. A memorial gathering will be 10AM to 11AM, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 624 Zion Rd., Egg Harbor Twp., NJ. A memorial service will follow immediately at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Landon Jacob Shaw Trust, TD Bank 4280670518.
