Vera Marie Devlin, age 84, passed peacefully on July 20, 2013, lovingly surrounded by her children. Vera was the wife of the late Neil J. Devlin, Sr. and mother of Elaine Harbison (Larry), Neil Devlin Jr. (Hannelore), George Devlin (the late JoRene), Judith Devlin, and Jennifer Suskie (John). Vera is also survived by her sisters Eleanor Slunt, Mildred Chew, and Myrtle Koffley, her 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Vera resided at Rockhill Mennonite Community. She was formerly from Hartsville, PA and St. Augustine, FL. Vera was born in Wildwood, NJ and was the daughter of the late Teresa and Walter Townsend. She worked as an administrative assistant at The Budd Company where she met her husband of 55 years. In later years, Vera worked at Stutz's Candies in Warrington and as office manager for W.T. Grant Co. in Warminster. Friends and family are invited to her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Rt. 152 & Broad St. in Hilltown, PA. Family will receive friends at the Church from 9:00 am until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park.
