Obituary for Timothy J. Zewe

Timothy J. Zewe, 34, of Millcreek, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Saint Vincent Health Center. He was born in Erie on February 1, 1975, the son of Richard and Mary Jane Cahan Zewe. He received his G.E.D. after attending McDowell High School. Timothy was enrolled in the Everest Online program at the University of Florida and was taking courses in Computer Programming. Timothy worked at Presta Contractor Supply as a warehouseman and driver. Prior to working at Presta Contactor Supply, he worked as a framer for construction companies. Following Hurricane Katrina, he went to Biloxi, MS and then to Florida to aid in recovery efforts. Timothy was an ordained minister too. He loved the outdoors especially fishing. Timothy also loved Woody Allen Movies and playing classical guitar music. His favorite composers were Mozart, Segoria and Berlioz. He loved crossword puzzles and was an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan. Timothy was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Zewe; his paternal grandparents:Katherine and Anthony Zewe; and his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Cahan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Christina Silvaggi and her daughter, Anna Silvaggi both of Erie. He is further survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Avenue) on Tuesday from 2 until 5 and 7 until 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a time of sharing there following calling hours at 9 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. P.O. Box 707, Erie, PA 16512.
