Paul Emile Charbonneau Obituary

After a brief illness passed away peacefully at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 4, 2013 age 78 years. Beloved husband and best friend of 55 years to Hortense Charbonneau (née Lauzon). Much loved father of Manon Vachon (Brent) of Alexandria, Patrice Charbonneau (Hélène) of Glen Nevis Martine Legault (Denis) of Dalkeith, and Jean-Pierre Charbonneau (Nancy) of Alexandria. He will be sadly missed by 8 loving grandchildren Kacy, Derick, Amanda, Sarah, Julien-André, Austin, Marissa and Braelyn. Dear brother of Jeannette Carriere (late Denis), Fleurette Decaire (late Donat), and Alberte Pilon (Alcide). Predeceased by his infant daughter Marie, his parents Napoléon and Donalda (née Denis) Charbonneau, his 4 sisters Laurette, Gilberte, Yvette, Juliette, and by his 3 brothers Rhéal (Murielle of Maxville), Aurel (Agathe of Alexandria), and Joseph. He will also be fondly remembered by sisters and brothers in law, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9:30 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ste. Marie de l’Assomption Catholic Church, Green Valley on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Paul Emile a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
