Mrs. Beatrice Croft, 78 years of age, of Salem, born July 1, 1935, passed away Sunday morning, August 11, 2013, at 6:05 AM, at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services. She attended Ditney General Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jimmy Croft of Salem; two sons, Mike Croft of Lola and Marsha Hosick of Salem, Terry and Becky Croft of Salem; five grandchildren, Rachel and Chris Guess of Salem, Jonathan Croft of Salem, Brandon Croft of Ledbetter, JoAnna Croft of Salem, and Lucas Croft of Ledbetter. Preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Muriel and Lubie Roach of Salem and Lonnie Monroe of Carrsville. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 1PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors, with the Rev’s. Kenneth Watson, Jerry Merritt, and David Davis officiating. Entombment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8PM, Monday, August 12, 2013, at Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem.
