Anna E. Speece, 92, formerly of Cumru Township, passed away October 19, 2012 in Berks Heim. Her husband, Arthur J. Speece, Sr., died December 25, 2007. Born in Bern Township, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Clara M. (Oxenrider) Ernst. Anna worked for AT&T for over 25 years, retiring in 1982 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle R.C. Church, Shillington. Anna is survived by eight children; Arthur J. Jr., of Exeter Twp., David G. husband of Jane M. Speece of Bonita Springs, FL., Joanne M. wife of David E. Waligurski of Mohnton, Linda J. wife of Vincent L. McLaughlin of Reading, Glenn B. husband of Bonnie L. Speece of Cumru Twp., Gerald A. widower of Linda Speece of Temple, Mark B. husband of Donna L. Speece of Exeter Twp., and Dianne L. wife of Kirby Hartzell of Reading. Also surviving are three sisters-in-law: Janet Fenstermacher, Greenfields; Dorothy Speece, Shillington and Doris Speece, Laureldale. 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive her.
