Joseph Howard Sr. Joseph Howard Sr. 89 of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away on Friday September 13, 2013 at the Benchmark Care Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Funeral services will be Thursday September 19, 2013 at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri at 11:00am. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Langsford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Burial in the Lee's Summit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice 7611 State Line Road Ste. 200 Kansas City, Missouri 64114. Joseph was born on January 12, 1924 in Melville, La. He moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1943 with his wife Mary B. Howard. He was employed by Kap-pel fabrics in Kansas City, Missouri as a warehouse supervisor. He eventually moved to Lee's Summit, Missouri in 1969. He and his wife were longstanding members of Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary B. Howard, daughter Melgene A. Howard, Son Joseph "Ricky" A. Howard Jr. ; Daughter Mary E. Howard. Survivors are his children Charles Howard, Shirley Howard, Sylvia Howard, Annette Raney, and Eddie Howard.
