Katina Grimbilas, 76, of Mapelwood, passed away on September 13,2013. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the Sts. Nicholas, Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Roseland.Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 – 6 PM at Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, NJ 07068.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.farmerfuneral.com. Katina was born in Demonia, Greece coming to the United States in 1962 settling in Mapelwood where she raised her family and lived her whole life. She was primarily a homemaker while working as a Seamstress out of her home. Katina belonged to the Philoptochas Society and the Stitch and Knit Club at Sts. Nicholas, Constantine, and Helen Church.She was the beloved wife of the late Constantine Grimbilas (2008). She was the loving mother of Tina Spenzos and her husband Dean and Chris Grimbilas and his wife Jennifer. She was the cherished grandmother of Katherine, Dean, Michael, and Brandon.
She was the dear sister of Damasko, Pari, Froso, Zafiro, Taki, and Niko.
