Obituary for Frances U. Esquibel

Frances U. Esquibel, 56, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday unexpectedly. She is preceded in death by her father, Fidel Lujan and two brothers, Fernando and Roland Lujan.
She is survived by her mother, Marianita Lujan of Ojitos Frios, NM; one daughter, Lisa Esquibel of Las Vegas, NM; two sons: Robert Esquibel and wife Kristina of Albuquerque, NM and Steven Esquibel and companion Vanessa of Las Vegas, NM; five sisters: Diana Bollman and husband Dale of Dixon, IL, Petra Urvanejo and husband Robert of Albuquerque, NM, Josie Lujan, Dora Martinez and husband Ernest, and Veronica Lujan all of Las Vegas, NM; three brothers: Fidel, Ernesto and companion Gloria, and Orlando Lujan all of Las Vegas, NM; four grandchildren: Juan and Isaac Esquibel of Albuquerque, NM and Joshua and Kianna Esquibel of Las Vegas, NM; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born in Ojitos Frios, NM on June 30, 1957 and was a graduate of West Las Vegas High School. She then attended Luna Community College where she earned an associate degree in dental hygiene. She was employed by Walgreens for many years as the Photo Department Manager, where she patiently assisted customers. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her time was devoted to assisting her children and grandchildren grow and flourish. Her adventurous soul enjoyed traveling and readings from the scripture. The countless memories of her will always be cherished and never forgotten by loved ones.
Services will be held from the Immaculate Conception Church on Friday with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Father Anthony Bolman will celebrate the funeral mass. Cremation will follow and the interment will be at a later date.
