Joe Luis Castilleja Sr., was born June 19, 1967, to Amadeo and Beatriz Castilleja in Temple, Texas. He attended school in Rosebud Lott High School. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Temple, Texas. He worked for Poboril Paint and Body, Temple, Texas.
Left to cherish his memories are his father, Amadeo Castilleja Sr. of Temple, Texas; mother, Beatriz Castilleja of Temple, Texas; three sons, Sergio Castilleja, Brandon Castilleja, and Joe Castilleja Jr. all of Temple, Texas; six brothers, Amadeo Castilleja Jr. of Rosebud, Texas, Charlie Castilleja of Austin, Texas, Ricky Castilleja, Rudy Castilleja, Raymond Castilleja and Ray Castilleja all of Temple, Texas; two sisters, Delia Garza of Temple, Texas, and Laura Cortez of Morgans Point, Texas; three grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
