Anna Meskell

Anna C. Meskell, 77, of 499 Maple Ave., Beech Creek left the loving arms of her family into the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Williamsport Hospital. Anna was born October 9, 1936, a daughter of the late LeRoy and Annabelle Rupert. Anna is survived by her children: Anna (Gary) Bathurst, Pearl (Ashley) Gardner, Mary Laubscher (Gary Taylor), Donald (Rosa) Andrus, Melody (Daniel Bryan) Andrus, Ethan (Bonnie) Andrus, Larry (Juanita Bechtol) Andrus; and a brother, Edward Rupert. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great, great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank W. Meskell, Sr.; a son, Frank W. Meskell, Jr.; and her brothers: Rusell Rupert, Lewis DeHaas, and David Rupert. Anna was retired from Woolrich Woolen Mills. Frank and Anna were campers and were hosts in many state parks in PA and FL. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She spent many years making crafts and sewing for her family. She was a member of the Echo Hope Assembly in Mill Hall. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Pastor Ed Claybaugh officiating. Burial will be at Hays-Fearon Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 12:30 until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745, to assist with funeral expenses.
