David J. Babetski, age 68 of Toms River, NJ passed away, December 7th, 2013 at Community Medical Center. David was born in Wilkes Barre, PA to Clemence and Helen Babetski on May 18th, 1945. David attended Pennsylvania State University with his degree in engineering. He was a former member and lector of the Parish of St. Maria Goretti in Laflin, PA. David was also a Volunteer Fireman in Laflin, PA for many years. David moved to Toms River 30 years ago. He worked as general manager for Beckley Perforating Company in Garfield, NJ. Later David owned and operated Soup and Sandwich Deli in Toms River and a restaurant and grille on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. After his retirement, he worked for Wallach’s Farm Market in Toms River. David is survived by his loving wife, Jenifer (Rose) Babetski, his children, Mary Lynn Babetski, David Babetski, Jr., Angela Holton and step-children, John and James Savage and Jackie Tunbridge, two brothers, Richard and Robert Babetski and one granddaughter, Karalyn. David is also survived by his former wife Marilyn Graylock. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Liturgy will be offered Thursday 10:00am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Toms River, NJ.
