Obituary for Betty J. Tucker

Elizabeth “Betty Jane” Tucker, 78, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Monday December 16, 2013 in a local hospital. She was a retired computer programmer and internal auditor for City National Bank in Fort Smith and a member of Saint Boniface Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Tucker. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Knight of Alma, AR; two sons, Bobby and Billy Tucker both of Fort Smith, AR; four sisters, Dorothy Favenyesi of Roseville, MI, Bernice Grist of Paris, AR, Josephine Enzenberger of Palos Park, IL and Mary Ellen Furstenberg of Oakland Park, FL; one brother, Adrian Furstenberg of Subiaco, AR; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Medlock, Kelly Tucker and Jennifer Kelley all of Alma, Kane Tucker of Fayetteville, AR and Brandon Edwards of Greenwood, AR; six great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday December 19, 2013 at Saint Boniface Catholic Church with burial in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be Kane Tucker, Tommy and Jackson Konert, John Furstenberg, Mike Burnett, Ronnie Casanova, Brandon Edwards, Jerry Don Kelley and Danny Babitzke. The Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home.
