Arvilla “Rose” Arentz, 83, of Newburg formerly of Saxton, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Westminister Woods, Huntingdon. She was born on October 12, 1930 in Saxton, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late James and Nora (Leighty) Bair. She was first united in marriage to Joseph E. Rogers, he preceded her in death in 1949. She later married Robert Ford and Harry Arentz.
She is survived by the following family:

Rose was of the Protestant Faith.
She was primarily a homemaker during her lifetime.
She enjoyed crocheting and craft working.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the
Akers Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Bailey officiating.
Family and Friends may call at Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, PA, on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
