Obituary for Elizabeth Ann Firestone

Ratliff City - Services for Elizabeth “Ann” (Massie) Firestone, Age 62 of Velma, OK, will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 2, 2009, at the Assembly of God Church in Velma, OK. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Johnston & Rev. Travis Stewart. Interment will follow in the New Velma Cemetery, Velma, OK Elizabeth Ann Firestone was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Duncan. To the late R. H. and Lilly Opal (White) Massie. Ann passed away Monday, December 29, 2009 in Ardmore. Ann was united in marriage to Albin Louis “Monk” Firestone on Oct 20, 1964 in Gainesville, TX. Ann lived her life in devotion to Jesus Christ and her family. She was a long-time resident of the Velma-Alma community and an active member of the Velma Quilter’s, as well as an avid Velma-Alma Comets’ fan. Family sentiments regarding our loved one is found in Proverbs 31. She was preceded in death by her parents " Mr. R. H. & Opal (White) Masie; one brother " Von Darrell Massie & one nephew " Aubrey Jay Stoner. Survivors include her husband " Rev. “Monk” Firestone of the home; 2 daughters " Belinda Harris of Duncan and Ginger Carr & husband Charles of Healdton; 1 son " Marty Firestone & wife Marketia of Healdton; 6 grandchildren " Kevin Harris & wife Rebecca of Yukon; Stephanie Garmon & husband Jason of Duncan; Brittney Carr of Healdton; Chaz Carr of Healdton; Marty Keith Firestone of Healdton and Taylor Firestone of Ardmore. 6 great grand children " Lucien Keller, Svaya Keller, Aiden Harris, Lain Garmon, Ainsley Bledsoe & Jason Bledsoe: 2 sisters- Gwendolyn Mines & husband Bob of Collinsville, OK and Kay Stoner & husband Aubrey of Fort Worth, TX; 2 brothers " James “Bobby” Massie & wife Brenda and Rocky Massie & wife Myong, all of Duncan.
