Jeanette "Jean" McKinley (nee Sauter), of St. Albert, passed away on March 10, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Jean was born in Medicine hat, Alberta, September 20, 1934, the youngest of ten. She was a loving and cherished daughter, sister, wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband, John; her son, Thomas (Teri) Blackwood; daughters, Jennifer, Susan and Beth McKinley; granddaughter, Sylvia Harris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jean loved to entertain and was always very warm and welcomed everyone into her home. She had a love for animals and flowers, a great sense of humour and enjoyed travelling. We have many great memories and we will all miss her. The family wish to extend their gratitude to the staff of Chartwell St. Albert, the staff of the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert and all who have reached out to us during this difficult time. The service will be held at Park Memorial, 9709 - 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton, on Friday, September 17 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at 2 p.m. at the Park Memorial Reception Centre, 11015 - 101 Street NW, Edmonton.
