Albina Weisgerber

March 27, 1927 – May 10, 2015 The family of Albina Weisgerber is saddened to announce her passing at the age of 88 years. She devoted 35 years of loyal and highly recognized service to the Government of Canada in the Northern Alberta Militia District. She enjoyed world travel, serving for various church organizations and spending time with family. Albina will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Mildred (Don) Wood, Leo (Irene) Weisgerber, Marian Holitzki, Francis (Carol) Weisgerber, Raymond Weisgerber and Doreen (Bob) Wood; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend, Linda Cornell. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anne; siblings, Virginia Horn, Clarence Weisgerber, Harvey Weisgerber, Yvonne Walker, Freddie Weisgerber and Laura Pagnucco. The family will like to thank the staff at Miller Crossing for their care and compassion for Albina over the past five years, and most specifically in her final days. Memorial Service Friday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 13131 - 86 Street with Reverend Paul Moret officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to ESK-OMI Missions, PO Box 159, St. Norbert, MB R3V 1L6.
