Andrew Turzansky Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Turzansky, following a brief illness. Andrew was born in Dauphin, Manitoba, and grew up on the Prairies before graduating with a Masters Degree from the University of Alberta. He was most proud of his work involving Historic Sites and Human Rights while employed with the Government of Alberta. Andrew enjoyed any activities involving Canada’s National Parks, including hiking, skiing, and photography. Andrew is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Christine Rapp; daughter, Katie Turzansky (Jerrod Dwan); son, Matthew Turzansky; mother, Dobr. Zina Turzansky; sister, Irene Hleck, and extended family. He was predeceased by his father, Right Reverend George Turzansky. Prayer Service: Monday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 10951 – 107 Street. Funeral Rite: Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. Right Reverend Stephan Semotiuk officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Вічная Пам’ять
