On October 20, 2017, Andrew Yurkiw of Waskatenau passed away at the age of 88 years. Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Irene; his children, Carol, Kenneth (Carolyn) and Linda; eight grandchildren, Sean, Cameron, Candice, James, Rachel (Nick), Sheldon, Andrea and Justin; and great-grandson, Bradley, and numerous relatives and friends. Andrew was predeceased by his son, Michael; infant daughter, Rose Marie; parents, Fred and Anne; five brothers and three sisters. Divine Liturgy Thursday, October 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Waskatenau. Reverend Slavko Dumec officiating with interment in Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church or a charity of one’s choice.Obituary
