With grace our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend peacefully passed away at the age of 105 years 8 months. Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Annie, later immigrated to Canada by herself settling to a farm life in Innisfree, AB, where she met and married her husband, Alex. At the age of 101 years, Annie went to Century Park, Vegreville and there enjoyed her latter years. Her memories will be forever remembered by all who knew her. The family expresses utmost gratitude to the great team at Century Park for the wonderful care and kindness she received everyday. Annie is survived by one son, Edward (Stella); daughter-in-law, Elsie Gizowski; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mary Gizowski; two cousins, Mike Zyluk and Mary Yaremcio; as well as many other relatives. Predeceased by her husband, Alex (1968); two sons, Bill (1993); Ted (2014); and granddaughter, Carol (2012).
