We regret to announce the sudden passing of Courtney Fischer. Courtney was born on January 28, 1977 in Tuelon, Manitoba. Courtney always believed in living life to the fullest. He always brought a smile to all he met. He was full of life and believed that by being the best he could be the people around him would always feel the warmth of his love. Courtney loved his job and always strived for perfection in everything he did. His job allowed him the opportunity to do two of the things he loved best; meet a multitude of new people that in his words were “not strangers, only friends he had not yet met” and the opportunity to compete and show that as a field sales rep he could always try to outdo any competition. Courtney had a smile that lit up any space he entered. The thing he most enjoyed with friends and family was the time that he spent with the young ones that allowed him to rejoice in his infectious childlike behaviour. Courtney is survived by his loving wife and true soul mate, Jennifer Fischer; parents, Gregg and Debra Fischer; brother, Calvin (Karen) and their children, Jace, Jaden and Kyla; sister, Sonia (Jeremy) and their children, CJ, Katie and Erica; great-niece, Melody Jane; grandmother, Shirley McNair; grandparents, Ralph (Fran) Fischer; extended family and numerous friends. Courtney was predeceased by his grandfather, Jim McNair and grandmother, Joyce Fischer. The family would like you to join us in a Celebration of Life for Courtney on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. The family invites you to join us for a luncheon in the Park Memorial Reception Centre after the ceremony. In lieu of floral contributions, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice as Court always wanted to help everyone.
