On March 20, 2017, Dale Michael Esopenko of Edmonton passed away at the age of 63 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dale will lovingly be remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 43 years, Rosalind; his children, Christine (Josh) Melnyk, Michael (Krista and her daughters Addison and Grace); grandchildren, Lucas and Jacob; mother, Pearl; sister, Gloria (Ernie) Kapicki; brother, Gary (Darlene); and many family members, colleagues, and friends. Predeceased by father, Mike; and sister, Joycey. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr. R. Hauptman and the staff at Foyer Lacombe Hospice for all their kindness, support, and compassion, and who provided Dale with many a “warm blanket”. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 -111 Avenue. Reverend Daniel Friesen officiating with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
