On August 2, 2016, Dennis Spilak of Edmonton passed away at the age of 67 years. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janette; daughter, Shawna (Lee) Ginther; two grandsons, Thorin and Edward; brother, Eugene (Pat); nieces, Connie (Andrew) Tavender and Lori (Lee) Therres. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Michael; and sisters, Vera (Leo) Dombrosky and Lily. Prayer Service Monday, August 8 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street. Memorial Service Tuesday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Basilian Fathers officiating with inurnment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church in memory of Dennis.
