On August 14, 2016, Donna Marie Thomas of Edmonton passed away at the age of 56 years. Donna is survived by her children, Anastasia, Sarah (Ofer), Katherine and Matthew; one grandchild, Maximus; her mother, Elizabeth Burak; sister, Shelley (Peter); brother, Stephen (Monica); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her father, Steve. Our sincerest thank you and appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Unit 3C4 ICU at the University of Alberta Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral Rite Thursday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Elia, 11833 – 66 Street. Father Georg Podtepa officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
