Doreen Lutsky-Hooper
On May 15, 2017, Doreen Edna Lutsky-Hooper of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital. Doreen was born in Medicine Hat to Edward and Alma Ayling who predeceased her along with sisters, Isabel Duprey and Lilian Ring. She was also predeceased by her first husband, William (Bill) Lutsky. Doreen leaves to mourn her husband of too short a time, Lorne Hooper; step-children, Lynn (Dennis) Zaiffdeen, Marilyn (Tom) Hooper, Laine (Debra) Hooper, Danelle Osmond, Leslie (Stewart) Helm and Denise (Ken) Douglas whom they called Mama Dee; Douglas and Dakota Tolchard who called her Grandma; nephews, Donald and Gordon MacIntyre; and many, many friends. A reception to honor Doreen’s Life will take place Monday, May 29 at 4:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Reception Centre, 11015 – 101 Street, Edmonton.
