On January 23, 2017, Doug Blair of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Lily; daughter, Wendy; son, Trevor; nephew, Doug (Violet) Smith; niece, Tracy (Lee) Cooke; sisters-in-law, Mary Inkster, Tillie Gustafson and Marlene (Neil) Gourley. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Anne; three brothers, Walter, Gerald and Ross; and sister, Coral. Thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the University of Alberta Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. In keeping with Doug’s wishes no service will be held.
