It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edwin Joseph Batiuk on December 12, 2017, at the age of 91 years. The youngest child of Stefan and Catherine Batiuk, Edwin is survived by many nieces and nephews. Edwin was predeceased by his wife, Vera (Vicky) in 2001 and special friend, Nancy Semotiuk in 2014. Predeceased by his siblings, Mike Batiuk, Anne Sheptycki, Marie Yurkowski, Ethel Bohaychuk, Nancy Kureluk, Pearl Hawrelak, William Batiuk, Barbara Filipek and John Batiuk. Funeral Service Monday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Barbara Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 10105 – 96 Street, Edmonton with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
