Ester Panizzon

On December 5, 2017, Ester passed away in her own home in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 94 years surrounded by her loving family. Ester is affectionately remembered by her four sons and one daughter, Guido (Diana), Carlo (Silvia), Grace (Luigi), Graziano (Anna) and Franco (Suzanne); daughter-in-law, Fiorella; seventeen grandchildren, Ricardo, Paolo, Mario, Sabrina, Mark, Sarah, Mercede, Frank, Michael, Daniel, Lorenzo, Giulia, Fabio, Christina, Nicholas, Kayla and Amanda; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Mondin, Agnese Grotto and Avellino Sella all of Italy; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives in Canada and Italy. Predeceased by her loving husband, Francesco; and son, Anthony “Tony”. As mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, “Nonna Ester” will always be remembered for her sense of humor, love of life, strong religious beliefs, kindness to others, love of gardening and of course her traditional Italian cooking. Heaven has just welcomed a beautiful angel who continues to watch over us. Prayer Service Thursday, December 7 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue, Edmonton.
