On September 14, 2016, Gary Bennett of Lamont, AB, formerly of Vegreville, AB, passed away at the age of 79 years. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; two sons, Murray (Carrie) Bennett of Fort St. John, BC and Colin (Joy) Bennett of Calgary, AB; daughter, Stacey (Tim) Footz of Edmonton, AB; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers; two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; and one brother. As per Gary’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
