On February 19, 2016, Gerald Sidney Hewitt of Edmonton passed away at the age of 69 years. Gerald is survived by his wife, Yvonne Cardinal; step-children, Dwayne Cardinal, Loretta Cardinal, Verna Bouchier (David Martinez), Sheldon Cardinal; biological children, Erica Cardinal and William Cardinal, mother-in-law, Lena Cardinal; brothers and sisters-in-law; his siblings, Fred Hewitt, Ginger Bennett, Tony Hewitt, Marie Hewitt and Herbie Hewitt; twenty-four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Minnie and Bill Hewitt; step-father, PK Maxwell; brothers, Jeff and Bernard; in-laws, Albert and Peggy Cardinal. Memorial Service Friday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, 10821 – 96 Street.
