Giovanni Colangelo
On February 11, 2016, Giovanni Colangelo of Edmonton passed away peacefully with family by his side at the age of 85 years. Giovanni is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Lina; son, Michael (Agnes); daughter, Pina (Dennis) Rygh; five grandchildren, Megan, Jonathan, Daniel, Amanda and Carmen; one brother, Vincenzo of Vancouver; one sister, Raffaela of Italy; sister-in-law, Chiarina and cousin, Donato both of Edmonton. Predeceased by his parents, Michele and Giuseppina; brother, Donato; and sister, Carmela. We would like to thank Robyn Hazard for her compassionate care given to Giovanni. Prayers Wednesday, February 17 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 18 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church.
