After a long struggle with asbestosis, Gordon Persson of Edmonton passed away peacefully on the morning of August 20, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Pat; three sons, Lloyd, Aaron (Teresa), and Greg (Carlie); two adorable grandchildren, Sianna and Tyler; two sisters, Martha and Marion; brother-in-law, Tom; and sister-in-law, Jean. Predeceased by brother, Edward; and sister, Dorothy. A special thank you to Dr. Melenka and Dr. Barton and to all the staff at Capital Care Norwood. Memorial Service Sunday, August 28 at 3:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. Cremation has taken place.
