On September 4, 2016, Helen Petryk of Edmonton quietly passed away in the early morning hours at the age of 82 years. Helen is lovingly remembered by her son, Bob; daughter, Gwen; grandson, Stephen (Chantelle); great-granddaughter, Mia; and brother, Bill. Also left to mourn are her many relatives, friends, and past co-workers. Predeceased by her husband, John; parents, Louis and Nancy; brother, Paul; and sisters, Irene and Nancy. The family would like to thank nurse practitioner, Barb Schafer, for her comforting and tender care, along with the wonderful staff on Unit 17 at the Sturgeon Community Hospital. Burial Service Friday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 – 97 Street. Cathedral Clergy officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, 13819 – 82 Street, Edmonton.
