On March 6, 2016, Jack Edwin Wahlund of Whitecourt, AB passed away at the age of 89 years. Jack is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Wahlund Beaupre of Morinville; two grandsons, Blaine and Preston; sister, Wilma Stone of Wetaskiwin; sister-in-law, Millie Wahlund of Stettler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Rodger and Blanche Wahlund; sister, Elsie Argue; and three brothers, Earl, Eric and Vern. At Jack’s request, no services will be held. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Spruce View Lodge, 12 Sunset Boulevard, Whitecourt, AB T7S 1S9 or to the Friends of Whitecourt Society, Box 1101, Whitecourt, AB T7S 1P1.
