On August 23, 2016, Mrs. Jenny Frances Kjorlien of Mayerthorpe passed away unexpectedly at the age of 76 years. Jenny is survived by her husband of 54 years, Glenn; sons, Todd (Sheila) and Ross (Diana), all of Drayton Valley; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; one sister-in-law; and many dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by one sister. Jenny will be best remembered for her love of music, playing the guitar and singing. She loved Jamborees and playing country and western music. She worked as a nurses’ aide at the Mayerthorpe Health Care Centre and actively farmed for 40 years. Jenny was known for her gentle nature and she loved tending a large garden on the farm.
