On September 21, 2016, the Treasure family lost our beautiful and loving matriarch, with the passing of Joanne Treasure at the age of 68 years after a fierce but hope-fuelled 18 month battle with cancer. Joanne is survived by her devoted children, son, Scott and wife, Cheri; daughter, Dana and husband, Jamie McPherson; and the pride and joys of her life, her grandchildren, Jonah, Maxwell, Henry and Vivian Treasure and Angus, Penny and George McPherson. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Terry Storms; sister, Louise (Lonnie) Benson; brothers-in-law, Morris (Carole) Treasure and Jerry Kristjanson and their families; friends, Lynne and Rick Hewson and family; and Larry Woodley and his family. Joanne was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Randy; parents, Al and Frances Storms; and sister-in-law, Audrey Kristjanson. The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Ranieri and Dr. Karen King for the special care and attention given to Joanne. A Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be held Monday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Glenora Club, 11160 River Valley Road, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place.
