It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of John (Bruce) Fenton, formerly of Seba Beach, AB, at the Citadel Care Centre, St. Albert, AB. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marion (Dixie); children, Keith (Jayne), Joan (Randy), Gary, Dave (Denise); grandchildren, Warren, Kevin, Alanna Fenton, Nicole, Bryan Rosin, Deanne, Renee, Brittney Fenton and their mother, Cheryl Fenton, Payton and Paige Fenton; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Needles and Gerry Robinson; brother-in-law, Mitch Reeder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mabel Fenton; brothers, George, Henry and Bill; sister, Alice; sister-in-law, Roxie Reeder; and special Aunt and Uncle Olive and Nels Holmes. Born in Austin, MB, Bruce left Manitoba for Alberta at a young age and began his long career with Poole Construction where he met the love of his life, Marion Dixie Needles. His career with Poole Construction began in Calgary and took him across Western Canada and the NWT. After his retirement from Poole Construction, he continued construction as a contractor with many jobs in the Seba Beach area. He was also a hobby cattle farmer. Bruce was known for his work ethic, his sense of humor, his helping hand to anyone in need and love for his family. Memorial Service Friday, February 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
