John Chimko Obituary
On November 14, 2015, Mr. John Chimko of Vilna passed away at the age of 75 years.
John is survived by two sons, Bill (Sherry) of Athabasca and Dennis (Kelly) of Ashmont; three grandchildren, Brandon, Bailey and Blake; two brothers, Mathew (Shirley) Chimko of Athabasca and Peter (Nadine) Chimko of Edmonton; three sisters, Sophie Serafinchon, Annie Babiuk and Katie Babiuk, all of Edmonton. Predeceased by his wife, Glenda; son, Ron; mother and father, Anna and Alex Chimko; brother, Bill; and sister, Jenny.
Divine Liturgy Friday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Vilna, AB. Reverend Don Bodnar officiating with interment in Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Lung Association, Alberta and NWT, PO Box 4500, Station South, Edmonton, AB T6E 6K2.
