On January 19, 2017, John Hrynew of St. Albert, AB born in Wostok, AB, passed away at the age of 91 years. He was the eldest of ten siblings. John is survived by his three sisters, Anne, Olga and Jean; two brothers, Steve (Marg) and Lawrence (Pat); step-children, Christine (Brian) and Ron; sisters-in-law, Anita (Bob); and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Matthew and Maggie; first wife, Stephanie; son, Terrance; second wife, Doris; brother, Peter; sisters, Veronica, Elizabeth, infant sister, Margaret Rose; brothers-in-law, Paul, Walter, Mike, Peter and Ted; sisters-in-law, Mary and Edna. Divine Liturgy Wednesday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street, Edmonton with Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
